MOMS executes campaign for Coke

MOMS, the OOH arm of Madison World, has featured the Warli characters while executing this campaign for Coke. Coke has unveiled a new campaign in the outdoor, spanning 20 cities across the states of Punjab, MP, Karnataka, Gujarat, UP, Orissa and Bihar. Interestingly, the creatives spanning all media features- are the Warli characters that are typically drawn on the walls of mud huts symbolizing people returning home.

ERAA 2010: Transparent & tough, Jury members have their say on the Awards

The quality of entries received for the inaugural exchange4media Radio Advertising Award (ERAA) was highly appreciated by the distinguished Jury. The Awards has the radio industry and advertisers all excited. Jury members, too, have affirmed and resonated the industry’s view of the need for an awards initiative like ERAA. The Awards ceremony will be held at Sahara Star Mumbai on October 7.

Tata Indicom assigns OOH mandate to Milestone Brandcom; MOMS bags Tata Docomo biz

Following a multi-agency pitch, Milestone Brandcom has bagged the out-of-home duties of Tata Teleservices’ brand Tata Indicom. Under the mandate, Milestone Brandcom will handle all three brands under Tata Indicom – CDMA, Photon and Walky – across 22 circles. MOMS Outdoor Media Solutions has bagged the Tata Docomo business. Industry sources have pegged the cumulative account size at upwards of Rs 100 crore.

Government of Maharashtra invites bids for handling outdoor, print, electronic for Water Supply and Sanitation Dept

In a bid to popularize various schemes and projects implemented by the department, Water Supply and Sanitation Department (WSSD), Government of Maharashtra, has invited applications from suitable agencies. Empanelled agencies would be responsible for handling outdoor, print, and electronic advertisements for raising public awareness regarding programmes implemented by the department.

Lalit Kala Akademi invites tender for art exhibition for Commonwealth Games

The Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, has invited open tenders under the ‘two-packet’ system from agencies for making backlit displays for a special art exhibition, titled ‘Art Celebrates’, on the occasion of the Commonwealth Games 2010. The successful bidders shall be required to put up 100 high quality displays at different locations in Delhi and NCR to depict works of art. The EMD required for this tender is Rs 50,000.

Hectic activity is on for the 1st Annual exchange4media Radio Advertising Awards (ERAA), which will be held in Mumbai on October 7, 2010. ERAA 2010 will recognise work done in the field of radio advertising for the period July 2009 to June 2010. Following the overwhelming response from the agencies, advertisers and radio stations, and on popular demand, the last date for receiving entries for the Awards has been extended to September 20.

Music royalty issue: Music Cos slam Copyright Board’s order; fear negative impact on entire entertainment industry

The tussle between music companies and the radio industry over the music royalty issue is not over yet. The Copyright Board had recently recommended a revenue sharing model for the radio companies and the music companies. However, music companies are far from happy with the recommendation and have come out strongly against it. They share their reservations with exhange4media.

Keeping this in mind, the exchange4media Radio Advertising Awards (ERAA) have been set up. The 1st Annual ERAA is being held in Mumbai on October 7, 2010. The work done should be for the period July 2009 and June 2010. Last date for receiving entries is September 20, 2010.
