It is learnt that Ranjeev Vij is set to join experiential advertising and marketing agency, Iris Nation, as Board Director. Vij had recently put in his papers as Vice-President and Business Director of BBDO. Vij was with BBDO for a year, where he had headed the Hewlett Packard (HP) imaging and printing business, and was also responsible for new business projects. Vij, who has 15 years’ experience, started his career with RK Swamy/BBDO in 1994 as an account executive.

Print ad volumes of cellular phone services have dropped 20 per cent during H1 ’09, as compared to H1 ’08. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd had the maximum share of all the advertisers of cellular phone services in print during this period. Sixty-one per cent of cellular phone services advertising was seen in non-metro newspapers.
