Allied Media bags Rr 30-cr media mandate for SBI Mutual Fund
Allied Media has been assigned the media duties of SBI Mutual Fund (SBI MF). According to agency sources, the account is pegged at Rs 30 crore. The win comes on the back of a multi-pitch agency pitch that involved India’s top agencies – viz. Lintas, GroupM, Motivator and Lodestar, besides Allied Media.

The Report measures the advertising spends for the year 2008 in the measured media of print, television and radio for the top 500 advertiser product categories. Maruti Udyog, Tata Motors, LG Electronics and Nokia comprise the top five print advertisers in that order.

In line with this development, Radio Misty has appointed GS Hora, Chairman, CII, North Bengal Chapter, as Ombudsman. In December 2009, My FM had appointed brand consultant Giraj Sharma as Ombudsman.
Manoj Sharma joins India TV as Group Business Head
After a long stint in the print media, Manoj Sharma has begun a fresh innings in the electronic media with India TV, where he has taken charge as Group Business Head from January 1, 2010. It may be recalled that Sharma was part of the restructure at India TV in November 2009. Prior to joining India TV, Sharma had worked with India Today and CNBC-TV18.
