Krimson Media Services Pvt Ltd has bagged the exclusive on-ground rights to India’s tour of Bangladesh, which includes a seven-match ODI Tri-Series between India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, and two Test-match series between India and Bangladesh, starting January 4, 2010. Idea telecom is the title sponsor for the cricket series.

Deccan Chronicle Holdings Ltd has informed the NSE that its Board of Directors at a meeting held on December 28, 2009, had inter-alia approved a Scheme of Amalgamation for merger of the company’s wholly-owned subsidiaries – viz., Asianage Holdings Ltd, Deccan Chronicle Bangalore Ltd, and Sieger Solutions Ltd.
UTV Broadcasting restructures operations, to intensify sales focus
There is some restructuring afoot at UTV Global Broadcasting. It’s been two months since MK Anand took charge as CEO and his agenda now is to turn the focus on the media group’s sales function. As per the new structure, all the channels will have a dedicated sales head, who would report to the business heads and to the group sales head.

It is learnt that adidas India is planning to launch a new campaign in 2010 and for this purpose is on the lookout for a new creative partner and has invited the agencies for presentations. However, when contacted, the official spokesperson for adidas refused to divulge any details on the development.
