Zapak Digital Entertainment Ltd has announced the appointment of Chirag Shah, who is all set to head National Ad Sales. In his new role, Shah will be looking after Ad Sales for all businesses - Zapak.com, Zapak GamepleX and Zapak live (activation arm of Zapak). At Zapak, Shah will report to Arun Mehra, Chief Marketing Officer, Sales & Marketing. He has been instrumental in creating and maintaining revenues for West & South regions for Zapak consistently in the past and has been the back bone of all successful Ad Sales efforts until now. Shah has a total of 10 years of experience and has been with Zapak for three years now. He has also been associated with some companies like HT Media Ltd, where he worked for four years, heading sales for Hindustantimes.com

Shubhabrata Sarkar

Bates 141 has appointed Shubhabrata Sarkar as CEO of its Indonesia agency. Sarkar counts top multinational and local brands in his client experience, including HSBC, Ford, Unilever, Shell, Mazda, Nokia, Hero Honda, Extra Joss, etc. He hails from JWT Indonesia, where he held the position of General Manager since the beginning of 2008. As GM, he was in charge of operations at JWT. At the same time, Sarkar was also leader of strategic planning and account service. He had joined JWT in 2006 as Strategic Planning Director. Prior to JWT, Sarkar was with Result-McCann India as National Creative Director from 2005 to 2006. He had originally joined McCann-Erickson in 1992, where he worked on a varied portfolio of multinational and local brands and rose to become head of the creative team at Result-McCann (direct marketing and activation). He then moved to JWT and TBWA in India.
