Social media is the space for change, say India’s youth

In a nationwide survey conducted amongst the youth of India, nearly 76 per cent of youth believe that social media empowers them to bring change to the world we live in. They are convinced that causes for women and movements against corruption can be driven through this medium that is now growing as a source for information. In fact, as many as 28 per cent source information from social media sites, whereas around 54 per cent prefer a mix of print, television and social media.

Yahoo! Mail now available in 8 Indian languages

Yahoo! India has announced the availability of the latest version of Yahoo! Mail in eight new regional languages: Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi and Gujarati. The recently launched new Yahoo! Mail delivers a much faster, safer and easier online communications experience. Addition of new regional languages makes it even more convenient for users from across India to access and use Yahoo! Mail. With a simultaneous roll out in 27 new markets, including 22 new languages and 16 new countries, Yahoo! Mail is now available in 46 new languages and more than 70 markets worldwide.

I like challenges. I like to get out there. Comfort makes me a little bit uneasy. Another thing that became evident to me is that this is the biggest challenge in India. I mean there is no bigger agency, with the most number of creative people, and if those people find me talented, it will be a new level of leadership and get some great work out there, iconic work for these iconic brands. Designations are nice, but that is just not what I am about.
