MindShare Fulcrum’s Amol Dighe has joined STAR India as VP - Sales Strategy. Dighe has assumed his new role this week and is reporting to Kaushal Dalal, who heads the Sales Strategy function for STAR India. At MindShare Fulcrum, Dighe was recently promoted to as Trading Services Director, prior to which he was an Investment Director. He was reporting to Himanshu Shekhar, GM, MindShare Fulcrum.

Taruna Singh has joined Interactive Television, a 360-degree marketing solutions company as Manager, Business Development. She will be catering to big brands from various industries such as lifestyle, F&B, banking, insurance, IT, automobiles, etc. Her previous stint was with Rediffusion DY&R, where she was Senior Account Executive. Singh has also worked with Bates Enterprise for three years as Account Executive. She has handled brands like MasterCard, Cobra beer, TDI, Swaroski, Interactive TV, Radico Khaitan, Cartoon Network and Habitat Centre, among others, during her stint in advertising.

I don't think there exists any so-called 'ad agencies' any more on this planet. For the past few years ad agencies had to become integrated marketing agencies. They are all called brand agencies or integrated communication agencies. They needed to respond to the growing client needs. It's no longer just television but also direct mail. They have to sort of develop on all 12 keys of the piano and not just on one or two.
