TRAI's draft order for content pricing in broadcasting invokes mixed reactions
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has issued a draft order for content pricing and negotiations in broadcasting sectors which it wants to bring into effect from April 1, 2017. It also includes a proposal to put a price cap on different genres of channels for digital addressable system (DAS) platforms.
