APAC bloggers call for PR people to get online and blog: Text100 APAC Blogger Survey
Text100 has announced the results of its APAC Blogger Survey, which is aimed at helping the PR industry and its clients better understand bloggers in the Asia Pacific region. In what is believed to be the first survey of its kind conducted in Asia Pacific, this survey highlights the similarities and differences between bloggers across APAC and their preferences for working with corporations and PR agencies.
BAG Films FY08 net falls 26 pc to Rs 4.18 crore
BAG Films & Media has registered 26 per cent fall in net profit at Rs 4.18 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 5.62 crore in the corresponding period last year. The erosion in net profit was attributed to 223 per cent higher depreciation to Rs 6.06 crore in the investment made in creating infrastructure and technology during the year under consideration.

Hyundai encourages Children to ‘Sketch the i’
Hyundai wants to catch ‘em early. The car maker has launched an initiative to educate young minds about Road Safety, wherein students would be encouraged to present imaginative and interesting ideas by ‘Sketching the i’ as in Hyundai i10. The programme commenced on June 16 and will continue till the third week of August.
Rediff.com invests in Vakow.com, an SMS content sharing social community
Rediff.com India Ltd has invested an undisclosed sum in Vakow.com. The investment is part of Rediff’s strategy to encourage young and promising start-up companies to innovate and build world class products that would be mutually beneficial. Vakow.com allows users to post their SMSes on its website and share them with their friends for free.
CNBC-TV18 and IBM get together for ‘Innovation at Work’
