Bharti Enterprises has signed a MoU with the All India Football Federation (AIFF) to create a comprehensive programme, National Football Development Programme (NFDP), for the development and globalisation of Indian football. AIFF is the official governing body in India for football, and Bharti would make substantial investments in the programme, which would be upwards of Rs 100 crore.

TRAI has released a draft recommendation on provisions for IPTV services. MTV’s marketing vehicle Viacom Brand Solutions has signed up with telecom service provider Vodafone to provide customised integrated marketing solutions targeted at the youth. Over the next 12 months, MTV plans to create interactive content that will play out across their screens. They will also roll out innovative consumer activation programmes using music as the underlying theme.
