ExlService Holdings, Inc., a leading provider of outsourcing and transformation services, has announced that Executive Chairman of the Board, Vikram Talwar, will transition to the role of non-executive Chairman of the Board of the company effective April 1, 2011. Talwar said, “As one of the founders of EXL over 11 years ago, I have worked closely with EXL’s employees, clients, advisors, partners and Board of Directors to help create a company that is recognised as a leader in the business process outsourcing and transformation space. Rakshit comes to Saregama with 16 years of advertising experience with agencies like Orchard Advertising, where he was Executive Director. He also was solely responsible for the launch of Leo Group’s third agency brand, Black Pencil. Rakshit has also worked with agencies like Everest Brand Solutions, Publicis India, Euro RSCG Advertising, McCann Erickson and Ogilvy.

The Kolkata Metro Railway has invited bids for installation, maintenance and display of ads inside and outside of coaches, including in front of the ‘front cab’ and ‘rear cab’ of 17 rakes. The ad rights are being offered for a total display area of 255,216 sq. inch.

The appointment committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Rajiv Takru (IAS office of 1979 batch) as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. He is currently serving as Director General of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) under the Ministry of Textiles. Takru will replace Uday Kumar Verma (IAS officer of 1976 batch).
