Mauj Mobile & Mobixell partner for mobile advtg; Mauj claims 250 pc growth
Mauj Mobile on November 18, 2009 announced its partnership with Mobixell to deliver a full cycle service in mobile advertising. exchange4media spoke to Saurabh Vartikar, Vice President – Mobile Marketing, Mauj Mobile on this partnership with Mobixell. On a broader note, Mauj Mobile claims to have witnessed over 250 per cent growth in 2009 over the previous year.

ETV Networks’ Ravikumar Gilganchi joins Kasthuri TV as National Sales Head
Ravikumar Gilganchi has joined Kasthuri TV as National Sales Head. He will be based out of Bangalore. Gilganchi moves from ETV Network Channels, where he had two stints including the initial phase of his career. Following this, he moved to Zee Network where he was looking after the ad sales of Zee Kannada and Zee Telugu. He then joined Tata Teleservices, and back to ETV again.

I&B Minister Ambika Soni re-stresses self regulation in television content
“Over 500 TV channels have permission to beam into Indian homes. When there is such an invasion into our rooms, there is a need for a content debate as we, being the representatives of people, are answerable to Parliament and others on the sensitivities of people,” said Union Information & Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni. The Minister was addressing a gathering at the FICCI organised Media & Entertainment Business Conclave 2009 in Chennai.
