This latest win followed a two-way pitch involving Lintas Media Group and Carat. The account size is expected to be in the range of Rs.15 crores.
Rediffusion - Y&R, Bangalore has bagged the creative duties for Arrow, a premium men’s wear brand from Arvind Brands. The business has moved from Alok Nanda Communications. The media spend for the brand will be in the range of Rs. 6-7 crore. The account was won post a multi-agency pitch, which included Bates, Saatchi & Saatchi and Meridian.
Peter Chernin, President and COO, News Corporation, and Chairman and CEO of Fox Entertainment Group, has decided to step down. He will be leaving the organization when his contract expires in June 2009. Chernin, who has been second-in-command at News Corp after Rupert Murdoch, will be setting up his own Hollywood film and production company that will supply movies to News Corp’s Fox Division.
“As the center of gravity in the world is shifting globally from the US and Europe to Asia, there is a shift in India, too, especially on the media front. TRAI has issued regulations for quality of service standards for broadcasting, cable services and cable television in non-CAS areas.
