Mobile instant messaging set to challenge status quo of non-voice communication: TNS study

Mobile Instant Messaging (MIM) is set to cannibalise SMS (texting) and eventually email from PC, a survey from TNS Technology has found. The TNS Global Telecoms Insight (GTI) study has found that once mobile users adopt MIM, it overtakes other messaging tools to become the primary non-voice method of interacting with potentially dramatic consequences for service and network providers’ revenue.

Annecy has been showcasing the very best in animation for over 45 years. Bhaskar Group to launch Hindi business daily; Yatish Rajawat appointed Editor

Bhaskar Group is all set to launch its Hindi business daily with Yatish Rajawat, formerly of Businessworld, as Editor. Rajiv Jaitly, President, Ad Sales, Dainik Bhaskar, has confirmed that the Group is in the process of launching a Hindi business daily, but refused to divulge further details. According to industry sources, the paper would be launched soon with an initial print run of 2 lakh copies.
