Deals And You has appointed Shilpa Taneja as Marketing Lead with immediate effect. Taneja will be based out of Gurgaon and shall report to Guneet Singh, Director and Co-Founder, Deals And You. Prior to this, she was working with Microsoft India as Marketing Manager, where she was driving marketing for Microsoft’s share warrior brands in the consumer space – Internet Explorer and Windows Mobile. Besides this, she also established the comprehensive social media strategy for the Consumer & Online business and pioneered some ‘connected marketing to sales’ and CRM programmes for the Windows business that were subsequently rolled out in multiple countries globally as best practises.

Big FM has elevated Gaurav Sahai as Radio Operations Head for Delhi. In his new role, Sahai will be reporting to Soumen Choudhury, National Business Head, 92.7 BIG FM. Sahai was Marketing Head, Delhi for one and a half years prior to his elevation. He will be leading the Programming, Marketing and Technical teams, besides leading the planning and execution of ATL and BTL activities, including on-air spikes, outdoor campaigns and mall branding in order to achieve Station CUME and TSL targets.

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has invited bids from reputed firms under the 'two packet system' offering advertisement rights on 149 passenger baggage trolleys, along with their retrieval and maintenance, at the new airport terminal building of Bhuj Airport. The contract shall be awarded for three years and shall attract a minimum reserved license fee of Rs. 134.43 plus service tax per trolley per month. The EMD required is of Rs. 12,018.
