IRS 2010 Q1: Top five radio stations see decline in listener base in Bangalore
As per the IRS 2010 Q1 data, while Big FM, Radio City and Radio Mirchi have emerged as the top radio stations in Bangalore, it is Radio Indigo, the English radio station, that has impressed the most with a whopping 75 per cent increase in its listener base. However, the top five radio stations in Bangalore have witnessed a decline in listenership.
2010 One Show Awards announced; Rediffusion Y&R Mumbai bags 2 Silvers
The One Club announced the Gold, Silver and Bronze Pencil winners at the 35th Annual One Show. The awards honored the year’s finest achievements in print, television, radio, outdoor, innovative marketing, integrated branding and branded content – and also took a historic look back at 35 years of the finest in advertising. From India, Rediffusion Y&R Mumbai bagged two Silvers for its work for SeventyMM in the Collateral: Posters, P.O.P and In-store- Single category.
Percept OOH creates the buzz for Indigo Nation, Levi’s ‘Change your world’ campaign
Percept Out-of-Home has had its hands full creating the buzz for Indigo Nation’s range of ‘reversible’s clothes during the recently concluded IPL season. The OOH agency has also been selected to handle Levi’s ‘Change your World’ campaign that celebrates completion of 15 years of the denim brand in India. Both the accounts were awarded to Percept OOH following multi-agency pitches.
Discovery Channel to add more regional language feeds
Discovery Channel is planning to add more regional language feeds. At present, the channel is available in 38 languages, including Hindi and Tamil. Speaking to the press in Chennai after announcing the launch of the epic ‘Life’ on the channel, Rahul Johri, Senior Vice President & General Manager, India, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, said that they were planning to add more regional language feeds.
GroupM Global CEO Irwin Gotlieb keynote speaker at exchange4media Conclave 2010
Irwin Gotlieb, Global CEO, GroupM, will be the keynote speaker at the Mumbai leg of exchange4media Conclave 2010 on June 11.
