‘Food & Nightlife’, a monthly magazine from PlanForMe.com, will be available in the Mumbai market from the first week of May. It may be recalled that the magazine was launched in October last year in the Delhi market. To attract more readers, the magazine has increased the number of pages from 72 to 100 and also added a new section completely dedicated to fashion and lifestyle.

With an aim to get his due credit for the IPL Awards as conceptualiser and project director, Gaurav Garg, President, Strategic Consulting, Propaganda Media & Marketing, now plans to file an application of interim injunction on broadcast of IPL Awards in the Delhi High Court, of which even Colors is said to be party to, industry sources have said.

Expanding its offering in India, Dentsu has launched three specialist mobile agencies – Mobimost, Softcell and Incelligence. The three agencies are a subset of Dentsu Digital but will operate under different brands. While Mobimost operates under Dentsu Creative Impact, Softcell operates under Dentsu Communications, and Incelligence operates under Dentsu Marcom.

The redesigned ‘Bloomberg Businessweek’ magazine has been launched on April 22. The new-look ‘Bloomberg Businessweek’ includes expanded content, new sections and a retooled and enhanced navigation. The magazine also features a completely redesigned cover, which features a bold new logo and up to 10 stories, showcasing for readers what’s inside the magazine beyond the cover story.

Reliance Communications India has called for a creative pitch for its GSM and CDMA mobile business. The business is estimated to be upwards of Rs 200 crore. It is learnt that the agencies taking part in the pitch include DDB Mudra, JWT and incumbent agency Cartwheel. The media business for Reliance Communications is being handled by Mudra Max. Senior sources close to the development have confirmed the news.

The going is not so good for Creative Abby. As if the continuous result leak for the last three years was not enough, this year, the voting process has come under the scanner, rendering four ‘guilty’ agencies. The AAAI Managing Committee has discussed the matter and has suggested the withdrawal of awards from these four agencies that had voted for their own work. The Bombay Ad Club, that owns the Abby Awards, would be discussing the issue next week and a final decision is expected soon after.
