D’mello will partner NP Sathyamurthy, President & COO of Lintas Media Group, to elevate LMG’s offering to the next level to their clients. His last stint was as Head of Marketing & Communications at Reliance Money, the broking and financial services arm of Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group.

Nimbus Communications has reportedly bagged the broadcast rights from the Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) for another four years, starting April 2010, for Rs 2,000 crore. However, a BCCI source has stressed, “Unless Nimbus gets a bank guarantee of Rs 2,000 crore, the deal cannot be finalised.”

UTV Broadcast (Entertainment) channels has roped in MK Anand as CEO. He had quit as Business Head of Zoom in September 2009. At UTV, Anand will also head its four entertainment channels – UTV Movies, UTV Bindass, Bindass Movies and UTV World Movies. He will be reporting to UTV Founder Ronnie Screwvala.
