Judy Jarvis has been made Regional Commercial Manager for South Asia, British Airways. She will be based at the airline’s South Asia headquarters in Gurgaon. Jarvis is responsible for all commercial activities in the region. She had joined British Airways in 2000 and has handled many sales portfolios within the company, managing relationships with several of the airline’s key corporate and travel agency partners. She brings with her vast commercial experience that she has amassed in various roles over the last eight years. Jarvis had gained sales and operational experience with various travel management companies prior to joining British Airways.

Comparison based social shopping portal Naaptol.com has announced the appointment of Hari Trivedi as its President. Based in Mumbai, Trivedi will be responsible for overall sales and marketing at Naaptol. Trivedi, who till recently had spearheaded Aksh Optifibre as Head of IPTV business and prior to that Times Internet Ltd as National Head for E-commerce, is acknowledged as an expert in managing retail, sales and software development for e-commerce.

Amitesh Rao, currently National Business Head, Rediffusion Y&R, for one of the biggest brands in India – Airtel, has been announced as the new Chief Operating Officer for Rediffusion Y&R, Sri Lanka. He will be reporting to Rohit Misra, President, Rediffusion Y&R. Rao had moved to Rediff in 2007 from JWT, where he was heading the Pepsi business as Vice-President. He had begun his career with McCann Erickson and had also worked with Publicis India.
