Passenger vehicles advertising in print saw a rise of 32 per cent during 2008 as compared to 2005. Maruti Suzuki Ltd was the top advertiser in passenger vehicles advertising in print during 2008, while Tata Indigo CS topped the chart of new passenger vehicles advertised in Print during the year.
Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) is scouting for a creative partner and has called for a pitch. Agencies that are empanelled with the Directorate of Information & Publicity (DIP) are eligible to take part in this pitch. The account size has been pegged at Rs 1 crore. This is the first time that DTC is roping in a creative agency.
