Suvrangsu Mukherjee quits IMG; to join Total Sports Asia as MD
Suvrangsu Mukherjee is joining Total Sports Asia (TSA) as Managing Director. His last stint was with IMG where he was Vice-president, India and South Asia, for four years. TSA is an integrated sports marketing company with offices in Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai and Tokyo. It opened its Indian operations this month.

Ice cream advertising in print jumped by 58 per cent during January-April 2008, as compared to the corresponding period in 2005. Vadilal Enterprise led with 52 per cent share of overall ice cream advertising in print during Jan-Apr '08. Non-metro newspapers witnessed a high share of ice cream advertising during this period.

Spencer’s Retail has entered into an exclusive tie-up with British retail chain Woolworths Group Plc. The tie-up will enable Indian kids to have access to toy brand Chad Valley, which is owned by Woolworths. This would be the first Chad Valley outlet in Asia. Chad Valley toys are for newborns to 10-year-olds and would be priced from Rs 49 onwards.
