The highlight of the India Day at MipCom 2007, being held at Cannes, included a keynote session by Subshash Chandra and Ronnie Screwvala. While Chandra spoke on the arrival of TV 2.0 in India, Screwvala stressed on the need for a clear India strategy for international companies that wanted to work in India. Both media leaders emphasised that the India was already taking its first steps to go global.

The third and fourth sessions of the Indian Magazine Congress (IMC) 2007 that got underway in Mumbai from October 8 dealt with issues as varied as online magazines to mobile content sharing. The sessions also saw emphasis being laid on mobile advertising revenue generation and the importance of partnering with international publication houses.
