M&C Saatchi bags creative duties of Vipul Group
Close on the heels of bagging the creative duties of JetLite, M&C Saatchi has bagged the business of Vipul Group. The Group has interests in real estate, facility management and remote sensing facility management. The business was won following a pitch that was called a month ago, where three agencies were shortlisted. The size of the business is estimated to be close to Rs 10 crore. The Group is now looking for a media partner and has shortlisted few agencies.

Manu Anand, who has successfully led PepsiCo’s foods business in India (Frito Lay, India) for the last nine years as MD, will assume a new role, heading PepsiCo’s, beverage and foods businesses in South East Asia. Gautham Mukkavilli, MD, Thailand, will succeed Anand as MD, PepsiCo India Foods.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi, has announced a revised policy for the Directorate of Visual Publicity (DAVP), providing additional advertisement policy package for small and medium newspapers and increased assistance and concession to papers in regional languages.
TDSAT allows I&B Ministry to proceed against Red FM, but orders stay on 7-day ban
Following the show cause notice issued by the I&B Ministry to Red FM for an allegedly derogatory remark made by an RJ against ‘Indian Idol’ Prashant Tamang, the TDSAT on October 1 has allowed the Ministry to go ahead with its proceedings against Red FM. However, until the next hearing before the TDSAT on October 4, the Tribunal has ordered a stay on the seven-day ban that the Ministry has imposed on Red FM.
