International sports brand adidas has announced the appointment of Hartwin Feddersen as the new Marketing Director of adidas India. Feddersen has earlier worked with EAC Nutrition, Singapore, for six years, and most recently as Regional Category Marketing Manager-Infant Nutrition. He has also worked with Dumex (Malaysia) as Product Group Manager for two years.

Gujarati Mid Day to don a new look from April 3

Come April 3 and readers of Gujarati Mid Day will hold in their hands a much more trendy and smaller in size newspaper as Gujarati Mid Day will shed its broadsheet format to fit into a new compact tabloid size. There has not been any change in the number of pages as the newspaper will be of 24 pages but 20 pages will be in colour.

Following the exit of Aaj Tak Executive Producer, Ashutosh, another senior Aaj Tak staffer, Deputy Editor Mrityunjay Kumar Jha, has also put in his papers to join under his ex-colleague at IBN 7. A few other senior Aaj Tak staffers like Metro Bureau Head, Prabal Pratap Singh; Senior Special Correspondent, Sumit Awasthi; and Principal correspondent, Sukesh Ranjan are likely to leave shortly to join IBN 7.]

<p align=justify>Internet spends have already gone up in India in the last year, but people are still doing it without any data or research to base their decisions on. Advertising accelerates when there is measurement. Nielsen Media Research launched Hispanic panel in the US and advertising on the panel increased significantly following that. NetRatings launched in New Zealand and advertising almost doubled in one year of that. Clients, particularly in markets like India, are starved of some kind of information. Right now, they have to depend on company server logs, which can be inflated for any number of reasons. It’s not good to trust server logs.
